    Darci Stenfors, Principal, Escanaba Junior/Senior High School

    Darci Stenfors has led the Escanaba Junior/Senior High School as Principal since 2015. Prior to this, she served as the Escanaba Junior/Senior High School Assistant Principal from 2010-2015. Darci began her educational career in 1999, obtaining her Michigan Teacher's Certificate from Bay de Noc Community College/Northern Michigan University. She taught multiple grade levels for eleven years. She completed her Master's Degree in Teaching from Marygrove College, in Detroit, MI in 2006. Darci went on to receive her School Administrator's Certificate from the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) "Pathway to Leadership" program in 2010. In addition to her administrative duties, Darci is currently serving
    her second term on the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals Board of Directors as the Region 1 representative. In 2020, she was selected to serve on the Michigan Department of Education's "Back to School" Work Group with Governor Gretchen Whitmer and State Superintendent Michael Rice.
