Jennifer Laffier, Ph.D.
Can future teachers change their mind that creativity can be learned: What does that mean for student learning?
Dr. Jennifer Laffier is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Ontario Tech University. She is also a licensed Psychotherapist, Art Therapist and Trauma Specialist with over 25 years experience in the mental health field. She researches in the areas of mental health across the lifespan, youth suicide, impacts of technology on mental health, bullying, emotional intelligence and learning theories. She has worked extensively with school boards and youth centres, and children’s social services to support the well-being of children and youth, as well as the well-being of adults that work with children and youth.
