    Born in Malawi, Africa, and ninth generation citizen of South Africa. Attended the De la Bat School for the Deaf in Western Cape, South Africa. Graduated with matric honors, and went on to get a certificate in Graphic Design from MacTrain College in Muizenberg, South Africa. Traveled overseas to America (and Europa) to further her education at Gallaudet (Mathematics & Secondary Education, BA) and McDaniel (MS in Deaf Education). Have three kids (10, 8, 4) and a hubby of 11 years. Love learning, working/sharing materials with Gallaudet students and staff/faculty members, collaborating ideas, interacting with diverse people, spending time with family, hiking, swimming, and biking.
